Modern Hydrogen
Modern Hydrogen is pioneering low-emission hydrogen production through methane pyrolysis, which breaks down methane gas into clean hydrogen and solid carbon without CO₂ emissions. This process enables on-site hydrogen generation from natural gas or biogas sources, ideal for companies looking to decarbonize energy usage in heating, power, and mobility.
The Design
I was hired to design the wrap for Modern Hydrogen’s flagship product, the MH500. The design concept visually abstracts the hydrogen molecule's bonding structure, capturing the scientific essence of hydrogen production while grounding it in Modern Hydrogen’s innovative methodology. Collaborating with scientists, we chose a seamless pattern that encapsulates the intricate molecular connections and process dynamics inherent to hydrogen generation, using minimalist yet impactful design to reflect the elegance and precision of the MH500's technology. This graphic approach serves as a cohesive representation of Modern Hydrogen’s commitment to a sustainable, energy-efficient future.
The MH500 integrates directly into existing infrastructure to provide a scalable hydrogen supply, while the solid carbon byproduct is repurposed, often in sustainable building materials like asphalt. Modern Hydrogen’s approach offers a practical bridge to a hydrogen-powered, low-carbon future by using established energy systems.
